TMZ reports that American Idol dropout Mario Vasquez may have dropped out of the competition for previously undisclosed reasons. As in, stalked, and then masturbated in front of, assistant accountant Magdaleno Olmos (he worked for Fremantle, the show’s producers).

From the text of the lawsuit, Olmos claims Vasquez “stared lasciviously, smiled lasciviously … and on one occasion followed him into a bathroom … knocked on the door of the plaintiff’s stall and made eye contact [we can assume lasciviously] through the space in the stall door.”

He goes on to detail Vasquez masturbating in the bathroom, pushing Olmos into a stall while CONTINUING to masturbate (that’s a skill, I think), and trying to pull Olmos’ pants down. Olmos claims he tried to report the incident, but was scoffed at, and later fired.

Now, if this had come out when Olmos was fired “a few months later,” I’d be less of a doubting Thomas, but when it takes you two years to find a lawyer who will take your case? It isn’t a really good sign.
